The University of Aesthetics has two locations in Illinois offering training to become a licensed aesthetician.

• Downers Grove Aesthetics School: The University of Aesthetics (Downers Grove) *New Location* We've moved from our Butterfield location to 1037-1043 Curtiss Street Downers Grove, IL 60515

Aesthetics or Esthetics

We spell aesthetics with an "a" however there is no difference between an aesthetician license or esthetician license.  We have been involved in aesthetics for over 30 years.  We began by offering continuing education to licensed cosmetologists interested in "esthetics" before Illinois had a license.  Once a license was created, we began to work with the Illinois cosmetology schools to help them create their curricula.  Finally, we created the University of Aesthetics in Downers Grove and then followed with the University of Aesthetics in Chicago.  Both of our aesthetics schools (esthetics schools) are conveniently located near Chicago. 

Education Tradition

The success of our first location led us to create our second location in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.  Now, both locations offer identically superior curricula to prepare students to take the Illinois "Esthetician License" exam.  

We are proud of our schools and our wonderful instructors.  We take great pride in seeing our graduates throughout Chicago and all of Illinois providing aesthetics services in spas, salons, medical offices, and even in cosmetology or aesthetics schools.
